The tin man in a mask

tin man mask

Tiptoe around him or feel his wrath
Feel his pain rip off his mask.
Is he really there or a fake
Could you really help or make
Him care?

He wraps the tendrils around your heart
Twists them until he can start
To control you, make you his
All he does all of this.
To discard you in disdain.

Where was this flowery word
Left unheard
Blocked off from you
What did you do
To make him come back?

Was it that you became free
No longer his prodigy??

Sharing my views on just about everything that enters my mind. Fasten your seatbelts it is going to be a bumpy ride. I am just a lady of a certain age somewhere between the dinosaurs and stalactites. Musing over lessons learned and sharing those with others. 1. ‘Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!’ Interesting connotation… ‘A Yo Ho Ho! And a Ya Ha Ha, and a couple of Law Dee Dahs!’ LOL! Oooo! Am off to listen to Herman’s Hermits: ‘Two for Tuesday’…
